Find serenity in the middle of one of the busiest cities in the world in the Institute of Nature Studies. Other breathtaking gardens with pagodas, flowering trees and Zen landscaping are Kiyosumi, the Imperial East Gardens, Rikugien and Hama Rikyu.

Ueno Park houses a zoo, museums and arts.
Don't forget the Tokyo Fish Market, one of the busiest, nosiest and fascinating markets in the world. Then take in Dome City and go to the top of the Tokyo Tower.
Japan is infamous for its animation, so no trip would be worth it without seeing the Ghibli Animi Museum.
A short distance form Tokyo are the hot springs and mineral gardens of the Izu Pennisula or the famous rock steps to the Ikaho Onsen hot springs. And of course there is Mount Fuji is not far away. Enjoy Tokyo.
