The large thoroughfares are abbreviated with a Th while the numbered streets or soi branch off of them. Transportation can be by limousine taxis - but beware. Aggressive tout drivers may try and charge you double the fare. Walk past them, ignore them, use the express buses or metered taxis. Most fun is the Bangkok SkyTrain known as the BTS (bee-tee-et)
Besides shopping, you can enjoy horse races , a traditional puppet theatre, or state-of-the-art cultural performances by the Siam Niramit.
