Bali Travel
Close your eyes and think of soft waving palm trees, white beaches, clear blue waters with abundant sea life swishing in and out of the corals reefs. This is one place you will experience truely warm, beautiful, and friendly people.
Yeah, that's Bali. Whether you can spend only a day or a week, Bali is one destination you need to consider.
It's not what to do - it's more like when to do it -
Surfing, diving and snorkeling opportunities are numerous, and full equipment rental is reasonably priced. Or you can just lay back and bury your cares and your toes in the pristine warm sands and read that good book you have put off for way to long back home.
Then explore Buddhist temples, the lush volcanic mountains and many national parks. A wide range in difficulty trails waits you, each with breathtaking scenery, so no matter what your level of physical endurance, you will experience a world never before envisioned.

Consider a professional yet surprisingly inexpensive guide to lead you through the vast fauna and flora rich parks. They are readily available year round for about $11-$22 dollars a day. Just remember at the higher altitudes away form the warm Pacific breezes it can get a might chilly, so pack a light jacket or sweater and dress in thin layers.
Then descend into Ubud, the cultural hub of Bali with a hint of modern nightlife, great museums and an evening dance performance at one of the many temples downtown. Bargain shop for unique décor in one of the many street markets, and sample the local far in food at Casa Luna, or Ary's Warung. Growing in tourist popularity, Ubud has ATM and Internet access. Through it's tree lined streets, you can explore and experience Indonesian life to it's fullest.
If you want a less crowded and more relaxed experience, steer away from Kuta, and travel east to serene and friendly Candidasa. Enjoy Bali.
